Cubed salty roast potatoes
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Your choice of flavourings
It's hard to get this one wrong. Cut the potatoes up into small cubes and dump in a baking tray. Add olive oil, enough to coat each cube and sprinkle with quite a bit of sea salt.
Then it's up to you as to whether to add anything else. Woody herbs are great. Rosmary, thyme, a bayleaf or two. Or perhaps some chilli flakes and paprika for a kick. Or maybe lemon wedges or mustard seeds… Whatever takes your fancy.
Bake until golden and crunchy, but still soft on the inside.
